Top-5 NFL DFS Targets on DraftKings for Week 10

D’Andre Swift | RB | $6,800

Detroit Lions running back D’Andre Swift ranks fifth among all RBs in XFP per game (18.6), 8th in FPG (18.6), and 1st in targets per game (7.5), and his 225 routes this season lead the position. The Lions are 9-point underdogs to the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, and Swift has averaged 22.1 DraftKings FPG in the five games the Lions have been underdogs by 5.0-points or more this season.

We continue to see Swift’s price stay near the 6K range and I plan to keep exploiting it until DK makes the adjustment. He has been a staple of our builds, and that doesn’t change in our Top-5 NFL DFS Targets on DraftKings for Week 10.

Tyler Johnson | WR | $3,300

We always like to provide you guys with a punt play to save some money in this article. This week, I feel really strongly about the potential and actually hesitate to call this punt.

Antonio Brown is still in a walking boot and unlikely to play this week. Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski are also banged up. As of now, Godwin was limited in practice Friday and is questionable for Sunday. This points to good things for Tyler Johnson. Two weeks ago, Johnson filled in and played on 64% of the snaps and received six targets. The Football Team is 31st in pass defense DVOA, while the Buccaneers are implied for 30.5 points. Godwin actually has the best WR vs DB matchup according to PFF.

If does indeed miss, look for Johnson to do big things. If Godwin plays, he’s worth a shot too. We just can’t be sure of his playing time even if he’s on the fold.

Dak Prescott | QB | $6,900

Dallas Cowboys signal-caller, Dak Prescott, is facing one of the best possible matchups for opposing QBs, in the highest-total game (53.5) of the Week 10 main slate.

The Atlanta Falcons rank 6th-worst in schedule-adjusted FPG allowed to opposing QBs (+3.2) and 4th-worst in Football Outsiders pass defense DVOA (28.7%). Coming in at QB6 on this slate, I expect some decent ownership, admittedly. Since 2018, Dak has averaged 30.3 DraftKings FPG and 27.6 Fanduel FPG in games with a total higher than 52.5.

We’re high on a lot of options in this game, including Prescott. Lock Dak in for me in Cash builds this week.

Devante Adams | WR | $7,900

I was on Davante Adams last week until the news that Aaron Rodgers would miss due to the NFL’s COVID protocols. It seems a lot of other NFL DFS players felt the same way with the news that Jordan Love would be leading the Green Bay Packers offense. This lead to a 7% ownership according to RunTheSims.com, and Adams still had decent numbers considering the situation.

He still managed six catches on a whopping 14 targets but did only put up 10.2 DK points. Given that it appears the opportunity is still there, and with his ownership likely to be low again, I’m not backing down off the Packers’ WR1 in Week 10. An added bonus is his price point being at its lowest since Week 4. This one could be a letdown, but I’ll roll the dice on Davante’s talent with the fifth-best WR vs DB matchup on PFF.

There is a small chance for Rodgers to return, as Saturday is the first day he is eligible again. Is that enough time for him to get ready to play? He remains one of the best QB’s in the league, despite some struggles in 2021.

I’d like to say yes.

Kyle Pitts | TE | $5,800

Week 10 is a wasteland in terms of top-tier tight ends. It’s well-known amongst our loyal listeners, we prefer to pay down generally at the TE position. There are some good cheap options this week, but I feel like Kyle Pitts is in a prime spot for production as we head back to this Falcons/Cowboys matchup.

Without Travis Kelce, Darren Waller, or George Kittle, this leaves Kyle Pitts at the top of the pricing at the position. While Atlanta pulled off an upset victory over the New Orleans Saints last week, they are 8.5-point underdogs to the Cowboys. Without Calvin Ridley stepping away from football, Pitts has emerged as the Falcons’ leading pass catcher. While the rookie TE only has 75 yards receiving over the last two weeks, he still leads the team in target share (23%).

Pitts already has a pair of 100-yard games this year, displaying upside on par with the elite options at the position. Pitts also plays most of his snaps from the slot or out wide, acting as a true wide receiver. He’s good for cash and GPP play.

Good luck in Week 10!
