SODFS: Top-5 NFL DFS Targets on DraftKings for Week 11
Tyreek Hill | WR | $8,200
For those looking at Kansas City Chiefs’ stacks to pair with Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill is fresh off a game with seven catches, 83 yards, and two touchdowns on 10 targets. On the year, Hill leads the team in target share (27.4%) and air yards share (38.8%). On top of the elite shootout potential, Dallas ranks bottom 12 in yards allowed per attempt to opposing quarterbacks. He is slightly less expensive than Davante Adams, so Hill makes for a solid stacking partner with Mahomes and a potential cash game option at receiver.
Cam Newton | QB | $5,100
Cam Newton is back! After walking in off the street to his old stomping grounds in Carolina, Newton was on the field for just nine snaps, and Superman managed to score two touchdowns. I expect Newton to handle a much bigger workload this week if not outright take the job from PJ Walker.
With his rushing prowess and such a cheap price tag, Newton feels like a great value option this week versus a WFT that has the worst defense in the league against quarterbacks, allowing 27.41 FPPG to the position. Plugging in Cam allows you to pay up and stack with CMC!
Myles Gaskin | RB| $5,700
This is a pure matchup play this week. The Miami Dolphins face a New York Jets defense that’s given up an average of more than 47 fantasy points per game to running backs in the last four weeks. That is borderline criminal and probably illegal in some parts of the country. This week the Jets are giving Joe Flacco the nod starting under center and the Dolphins defense has been playing much better the past few weeks. The opportunities should be plentiful in this juicy matchup.
(Last 4 weeks: 61 rush attempts, 16 targets)
Dawson Knox | TE | $4,000
Returning from a broken hand, Dawson Knox caught his only target for 17 yards receiving with the Buffalo Bills beating the previously mentioned Jets, winning 45-17. Positively, Knox participated in 84% of the offensive snaps and did not appear limited by the injury in the slightest. When healthy, Knox averaged 43 yards per game on four targets. With Buffalo slated to face the Colts as 7-point favorites in a game with a 49-point total, Knox offers a cheap attachment to an explosive offense.
Nick Chubb | RB | $7,800
With Nick Chubb on the COVID-19 list, D’Ernest Johnson finished with 88% of the RB snaps against the New England Patriots (no other Browns back has been on the field for over 69% of their plays in any other week). He gained 157 yards last week on 26 touches. Chubb flashed in Week 9 with 163 combined yards for two touchdowns and two catches, despite touching the ball only 18 times vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.
On the year, he’s gaining 6.0 yards per rush while being on pace for 1,580 combined yards with 12 touchdowns and 16 catches over 14 games.
Detroit is 29th at defending running backs (28.89 FPPG), with RBs scoring 16 touchdowns.
The Browns’ running backs lead the NFL in rushing yards (1,429) and rushing touchdowns (15) while gaining 5.4 yards per carry. They also have 54 catches for 478 yards and two more scores. Chubb looks poised to score multiple times with over 100 yards rushing. Lock him in for cash and GPP.
Good luck in Week 11!
