NFL DFS Week 4: Top-5 DraftKings Targets

SODFS is showing no signs of slowing down as the NFL Season and NFL DFS hits Week 4. We’ve had our hits, and our misses. The Detroit Lions did us no favors last week, as both Jared Goff and TJ Hockenson let us down.

We did well in other areas, but we’re looking to hit big moving forward.

Here are our Top-5 Draftkings Targets in Week 4.

NFL DFS: Kirk Cousins, QB, $6,400

Kirk Cousins has been great in real life and fantasy to start the year. Eight touchdowns and zero interceptions. He’s scored 25 fantasy points or more in all three weeks to start the year, and went 30-38 last week with three scores. He has provided a solid floor thus far, and this weeks game has a great projected point total of 54. I like the price here compared to other signal callers, and love the stacking options available with his Vikings teammates in Week 4.

NFL DFS: D’Andre Swift, RB, $6,200

At some point, people will start putting some respect on D’Andre Swift’s name. While he’s yet to eclipse 50 yards rushing in a single game, he’s been productive in all three games in 2021. Rushing work isn’t what makes Swift appealing. What we’re looking for is the receiving work. Last week, he had 7 receptions, and while finding paydirt is what made for a successful outing vs the Ravens defense, the catches and route running are great. Detroit has Chicago in Week 4. Look for Swift to have an optimal workload once again. The price is very affordable at $6.2k.

Swift’s 23 targets ranks second among running backs are 25th among active wide receivers.

NFL DFS: CeeDee Lamb, WR, $6,700

Without Michael Gallup in the picture, Ceedee Lamb accounts for a 28.6% target share and 43.5% air yards share in one of the NFL’s pass-heaviest offenses. Lamb also benefits from a potential shootout against the Carolina Panthers, who have a depleted secondary after the injury to Jaycee Horn. The total currently sits at 50 points, giving Lamb an immense ceiling in this matchup. Price feels way too low making Lamb one of my favorite value of this slate.

NFL DFS: Kyler Murray, QB, $7,800

Arizona Cardinals quarterback, Kyler Murray, currently ranks third in the NFL with 1,005 yards passing and seven touchdowns. This puts his season average at 335 yards passing per game. Murray takes on the Los Angles Rams as 6-point underdogs in a game with a 54.5 total. We should see Murray have to push his team all game long leading to massive upside in this shootout. This was the first time that Kyler failed to rush for 20+ yards, or throw a touchdown, snapping an 11-game streak for both metrics. Throughout his career, Kyler has averaged a completely insane 29.6 DraftKings FPG and 28.7 Fanduel FPG in games with an over/under above 52.5-points. This is a nice tag for Kyler in Week 4.

NFL DFS: Cooper Kupp, WR, $7,800

Cooper Kupp season continues, as he now has 33 targets and five touchdowns through the first three weeks cementing himself as Mathew Stafford go-to-guy. This week they have cup priced up in true wide receiver one territory, sandwiched between Devante Adams and DeAndre Hopkins.
