NFL Betting Props: Week 2 Lock and Loads

The opening weekend of the 2021 NFL season did not disappoint, nor did the the NFL betting props. On or off the field. Happy to say that four of last week’s props hit! Let’s keep it rolling into week two.

Christian McCaffery

NFL Betting Props, Receiving Yards Over 41.5 (-115)

Christian McCaffrey is a machine when healthy. He was targeted nine times last week and he delivered with nine catches for 89 yards. The New Orlean Saints found a way to bottle up Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Packers last week. However, this is a different animal. McCaffery will surpass the 41.5 yards receiving handily.

Brandin Cooks

Receptions Over 4.5 (-125)

Last week Tyrod Taylor found a new best friend in Brandin Cooks. Cooks led all Texans with seven targets and five receptions. The Texans head into Cleveland this week. Houston will be trying to keep pace with the Browns’ high octane offense. The Texans’ lack of an effective running game bodes well for Cooks and this 4.5 spread. Book it.

Ja’Marr Chase

Receiving Yards Over 59.5 (-115)

Let’s stick with the receiving game and include the sensational rookie on the ticket. Chase impressed in his Bengals debut with five catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. Chase should have no issues hooking up with Joe Burrow for a similar stat line against Chicago. The Bears aided Matthew Stafford in being named NFC Offensive Player of the Week by giving up 321 yards and three touchdowns.

Patrick Mahomes/Lamar Jackson

Over 365.5 (-110)

This is a fun one! If the combination of Mahomes passing yards with Jackson’s rushing yards exceeds 365.5, you win! And how can it not? Mahomes did Mahomes things last week to the tune of 337 yards. Jackson ran for 86 yards Monday night against the Raiders. The Ravens were gouged for 406 yards through the air in week 1. The Chiefs were gashed for 156 yards on the ground. Greenlight on this one.

Ezekiel Elliot

NFL Betting Props, Comb. Rush + Rec Over 81.5 (-115)

It is fair to say that Zeke struggled last week against the NFL’s top-run defense in Tampa Bay. However, to suggest that Elliot won’t pile up over 81.5 yards running and receiving is ludicrous. The Chargers are a good team, but Zeke is breaking out this week.

NFL Betting Props Keenan Allen

Most Receiving Yards (NFL Week 2) (+1800)

This is a long shot. Tom Brady rips the Dallas defense for 379 yards and four touchdowns. I think reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Justin Herbert can do the same. Here is a scary number for you. Allen was targeted by Herbert a game-high 13 times last week. Safe to say there are no trust issues in that relationship. Those are the kinds of numbers that turn long shots into cash flow.

Bet well and enjoy Week 2!
